375 Schermerhorn St.,With an impressive background in residential development, architecture, urban planning and design, as well as digital media and marketing, Edwin brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge that’s invaluable to his real estate clients. Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and a creative problem solver, Edwin found great success in NYC residential development as a design and quality control consultant with his own firm, ENG Design Studio. Prior to making NYC his home in 2011, Edwin spent a decade exploring Europe while learning the design strategies, methods and techniques behind the evolution through urban planning and design of some of the most iconic cities in the world, including Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, Rome, Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Madrid, and Barcelona, where he also received his master’s in urban planning and design at the Cataluña Polytechnic University [UPC] to complement his architecture undergraduate degree.
Investors and developers find tremendous value in Edwin’s unique knowledge of urban planning, statistics, demographics, public investment, and how the cities evolve around rezoning areas and transportation hubs, while buyers feel confident with Edwin by their side given his extensive background in quality control within the construction industry. Edwin’s construction experience is also useful to sellers when preparing their home for sale and his understanding of digital media and marketing allows him to deliver maximum exposure for properties.
Edwin stays positive and energetic by balancing his busy work schedule with activities that keep him happy and fit. A sports aficionado at heart, Edwin loves following (and sometimes playing) soccer, tennis, golf, and baseball and you might also spot him running at Central Park or spinning at Soul Cycle. A culture buff as well, he enjoys keeping up with the latest museum exhibitions, watching Broadway plays, and exploring new restaurants and hotspots within Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island City. Edwin speaks English, Spanish, and basic Italian.
Edwin currently resides in Long Island City, where he has spent 7 years living by the waterfront. He describes LIC as one of the greatest neighborhoods in NYC because of its strategic location, proximity to the City (just one subway stop away) and airports JFK and La Guardia, the views, and its thoughtfully designed public spaces and parks, making it feel like an authentic extension of the City, but without the undesirable noise and traffic.
